Sponsor Information

Through generous donations from Michael D. Bennett, MD and the Retina Institute of Hawaii, PROJECT VISION was able to acquire its flagship mobile screening facility, a 35-foot recreational vehicle that is custom fitted with state-of-art retinal imaging equipment. The Retina specialists at the Retina Institute of Hawaii, including Philip Scharper, Jr., MD, also volunteer their time to review the images obtained at the screening events.

PROJECT VISION recently made its maiden voyage to the island of Maui thanks to the Hawaii Superferry.  Through their generosity, the van was on site at the Da Kidney DaKine Day, hosted by the Maui Chapter of the Kidney Foundation.
